Acupuncture For Winter Health

The winter months, for many, are the most difficult part of the year.  The cold and damp can affect the joints and muscles, making pain more prevalent. The immunity may suffer, there seems to be more risk of infection, and the light levels are much lower with shorter days.  Many may suffer from SAD or seasonal affective disorder. This is a good time to come for acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture has been used for over 2000 years. It can help to achieve a sense of well being and balance. Winter is a time for rest, for storage and it is a good time to invest in health.  If you have any particular concern you can read about the latest acupuncture research at Please feel free to contact us at the practice if you would like to make further inquiries.
